Tourmaline is a solo exhibition of acrylic paintings by Georgina Thornton-Parr; an emerging abstract artist, based in Bristol, United Kingdom.
About
Thornton-Parr is interested in the practice of creating instinctively; each painting is an outpouring of the subconscious pushed and pulled until its identity is unfurled and recognised. This body of work draws on the psyche, reflecting a moment in time, a feeling, a place. Georgina’s creative process for this body of work is the pursuit of the essence of the inner self.
Full of colour, intrigue, and a hidden sense of place; an expression of the all-encompassing human spirit.
