The NARS Foundation presents the opening of two new exhibitions, Doing It For Ourselves and To Sometimes Disappear, on view June 4th - 23rd, 2021.
About
The residency exhibition, To Sometimes Disappear, features works by NARS Season II Artists in Residence Joseph Liatela, Kristen Cochran, Shay Arick, Liliana Farber, Johanna Strobel, Yoshie Sugito and Sanghyun Koh. The exhibition presents a series of reflections on how the physical realm can be redefined by the ways we experience grief, desire, time, and existence. To Sometimes Disappear Press Release
The second is a solo exhibition in the NARS Project Space by Sarah G. Sharp. Doing It For Ourselves explores themes found in underground feminist publications from the early 1970’s that still resonate 50 years later. Doing It For Ourselves Press Release
