Current works in a variety of mediums by Sally Goddard, Deirdre Davidson and Caron Buckingham-Rhyder.
About
Sally Goddard has progressed from being an amateur artist, to taking her art more seriously in the last five years. Her work is in oils, and is predominantly figurative, sometimes graphic, and occasionally in pattern. She has been a student of Piers Ottey at the Mill Studio in Arundel since 2011, and has exhibited in the annual Arundel Gallery Trail since 2014, at Urban Art Fair, Brixton in 2014. She is currently completing a Foundation Diploma at West Dean College.
Deirdre Davidson is a partner in a furniture design company located in Chelsea and has, for the past six years, concentrated on her first love – painting.
For much of that time she has been a student of Piers Ottey of The Mill Studio. She has also completed the FDAD at West Dean College as well as attending courses at the St Ives and The Newlyn Schools of Art. She is essentially a figurative painter in both oils and acrylic with a particular interest in composition and the use of colour.
Caron Buckingham-Rhyder gave up her profession as an architect to raise a family and to start a successful outdoor education business with her husband. Since then she has attended a number of courses at West Dean and studied oils under the dynamic teaching of Piers Ottey (Mill Studio, Arundel). Caron works with a number of mediums which can be paint, wood/lino and occasionally photography depending on how the mood takes her! She is also an award winning photographer, an NOAC finalist and has had work selected for the Stride competition.
