A group art exhibition featuring a range of disciplines. We are commenting on and responding to the various social relations that mean something, in various ways, to us.
About
Think thunk draws focus on how we as humans exist in society. In this exhibition, we are commenting on the happenings in our civilisation. We are playing on the concept that there are multiple societies due to the infiltration of media and political stances, caused by a hierarchy of what is socially acceptable due to information being received. As individuals, we have our own perceptions and algorithms impacting our everyday lives.
Within pieces, there are references to architecture, social engagements, consumption, how we exist and the expansive nature of film. The variety of work depicts a balance of views and opinions to the audience. The work takes a serious and light-hearted approach depending on each particular artists practice. With the unpredictable state of matters both nationality and internationally, we are simply showing what we as individuals deem valid to us.
