Every two months, Art Isn't Sexy will be curating an evening of brand new theatre. It is Art Isn't Sexy's goal to discover new talent and give them a stage.

Theatre of the Unsexy, théâtre de l'obscur...Every two months, Art Isn't Sexy will be curating an evening of brand new theatre. It has always been Art Isn't Sexy's goal to discover new talent and give them a stage, to create and discover pieces of theatre pushing the status quo, upending the zeitgeist, other pretentious words that boil down to the phrase "something new." Where are the Sartre's, the Kanes, the Crimps and Joyce's of today? Where are the Beckett's, Pinter's, Churchill's, weirdo's, experimenters, bon vivants, others? What is art today? What even is "new theatre"?
For our first session we will be showcasing two performances. The first from Art Isn't Sexy, the second from a local company.
Jesenská, a Kafkaesque examining of totalitarianism and fake news.

from Odd Concepts, Beginnings, a series of scratch openings for various shows the audience is invited to critique.
Tickets cost £10, and go on to support more new writers, actors, directors, producers and artists. We say #makegoodart. You say "what the hell did I just watch"?!
