About

This exhibition has been created by fifteen Creative and Media students from Spelthorne. They have been working on the project since September 2010, and have collaborated to produce a fresh and imaginative perspective on the world we live in today. The exhibition features: sculptures, photography, photo-grams, computer games, drawings, fashion, illustrations and paintings. The exhibition explores the themes of environment, media, technology and war. The students had four days to mount their own exhibition, involving learning many new skills in curating, mounting and framing and interpretation. The group have also created a collaborative site-specific work with artist Nathalie Palin inspired by 19th century artist Hokusai and the recent events in Japan.
