There's two chances to catch The Tour of All Tours: a guided tour of guided tours, an event that occupies a slippery space somewhere between contemporary art and tourism. Drawing on a diverse range of tours offered in London's East End and The City this is a tour/performance that is critical, off the wall and quite unique.

"By mixing historical information into the present and encouraging scepticism of it all, The Tour of All Tours offers a means through which to overcome the rabid ‘consumption’ of falsified places, cultures and histories. Aitchison has put into practice a novel form of performative art. The guided tour is a mode of tourism and exploration centuries old, with familiar conventions of leader and audience, imparter and recipient of knowledge. Through both utilising and subverting these habitual conventions, Aitchison reforms the guided tour into an engaging and truly unique medium for art outside of the institution and in the public sphere."
