TAG Fine Arts announces first post lockdown exhibition - THE RETURN OF LONDON - artwork by ADAM DANT at The Crypt Gallery, St-Martin-in-the-Field, London.

TAG Fine Arts are delighted to announce Adam Dant's solo exhibition THE RETURN OF LONDON at the Crypt Gallery of St Martin-in-the-Fields. A stunning collection of original drawings and limited editioned prints, the show celebrates the return of London’s vibrant cultural life post lockdown. You are invited to join us - IN PERSON - to view Dant’s intricate typographic artworks that chronicle city life in their densely wrought depictions of bustling squares and public spaces, where historical motifs mingle alongside present-day observations of protest and London life to create a wryly humorous take on contemporary culture.
THE RETURN OF LONDON hails the reopening of the city's leading print galleries after a 12 month hiatus and includes a commemorative map to mark the 300th year anniversary of the first foundation stone being laid at the Church. Unveiled for the first time 'The Novel Map of the Parish of St Martin-in-the-Fields' forms an exciting centre-piece. In close collaboration with St-Martin-in-the-Fields and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, visitors are encouraged to trace Dant's Novel Map via a walking app/ QR scan (free to download) to revive the tradition of ‘Beating The Bounds' of the Parish, walking its perimeter to reaffirm their memory of the streets and sights that have lain unvisited throughout the pandemic by locals and tourists alike. The walk that starts and ends on St Martin’s Path, is a wonderful compliment to the exhibition, and provides further fascinating insights into central London and its ever-evolving story.
