About
The over-arching theme of our artistic programme during 2015 is The Multiverse; a theory that proposes the potential for a set of multiple universes. We will be launching The Mulitverse with a day-long event that explores the theory from a number of positions; fictive, philosophical, artistic and scientific. The event will include screenings of Lis Rhodes' Light Music (1975), installed in the gallery as a fully immersive work, along with Maya Deren's At Land (1944) and The Very Eye of the Night (1958), as well as talks and readings from, among others, Professor of Theoretical Physics Anne-Christine Davis, artist Beatrice Gibson and writer Tom Morton.
Transport from Cambridge train station is available to book. This will leave Cambridge station at 11.15am prompt and will leave Wysing at 7.15pm to return back to the station. Final details will be sent out to transport ticket holders during the week prior to the event.
Once you reach the booking site, there are 2 ticket options:
Please purchase a 'Multiverse Launch Event & Travel' ticket if you wish to book a place on the transport to and from Wysing. Please note we are unable to provide refunds for travel tickets.
For attendance only, please select a 'Multiverse Launch Event' ticket.
Due to limited capacity booking is essential.
