The Mayfair Art Collective started in early 2020 from the desire of bringing creativity in the heart of Mayfair: established artists and art enthusiasts started gathering weekly to create together in the Iron Duke pub in Mayfair. Upstairs they would be training their eyes through life drawing sessions, you could also find them downstairs working on their personal projects around a drink or a meal, sharing their passion with whoever showed curiosity (not a rare thing!).
The pandemic put such gathering on hold, but the end of lockdown inspired Susan M Wallis to bring everyone back together and celebrate what brought us together in the first place: art. To be shared, to be shown, to be seen.
Needless to say the ten exhibiting artists would find it hard to 'merely exhibit'. Craving to connect with you, they'll also be present on site through the week and running free drawing and painting events, for everyone to enjoy.
