Created in 2015, The Maverick Expo follow the line of cultural events that offers an alternative to the market of the established art. The Maverick Expo is a private initiative arisen from the will to offer, on the one hand, to the young contemporary artists, the visibility they deserve by showing their work to a wide, diverse audience. On the other hand, it aims at offering to the public a place where spontaneous review of the works is encouraged and the opportunity to meet the artists within their environment.

This event changes an ordinary visit into an intimate experience and relationship with artworks. Far from disembodied exhibitions in which the visitor is only a passer-by, the Maverick Expo offers a space for discussion and exchanges where artwork meets a social moment.

After London and New York, The Maverick Expo will be settling in Paris.

Créée en 2015, the Maverick Expo s’inscrit dans la lignée d’événements culturels qui offrent une alternative au marché de l’art institué. The Maverick Expo est une initiative privée née de la volonté d’offrir, d’une part, aux jeunes acteurs de la scène artistique contemporaine l’opportunité de faire découvrir leurs travaux à un large public et d’autre part, d'offrir à tous les publics un contexte qui permet un rapport spontané aux œuvres et la rencontre avec les artistes et leurs univers.

The Maverick Expo replace le moment de la visite dans un rapport décomplexé à l’œuvre. Loin des expositions désincarnées dans lesquelles le visiteur n’est qu’un passant, The Maverick Expo propose un espace de partage où la rencontre avec les œuvres s’accompagne d’instants de sociabilité.

Après Londres et New-York, the Maverick Expo vous attend à Paris pour sa quatrième édition.
