'Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see’ - Mark Twain

Deriving from Greek, Agape love is selfless. Dedicating time, energy and resources whilst expecting nothing in return. ‘The Kiss’ seeks to express love, kindness, compassion and generosity.

About

Gallery Different's annual Kiss exhibition, will be an online exclusive this year due to current COVID-19 restrictions.

In keeping with the times, the theme is 'Agape Love'; love that is unconditional, generous and charitable without expecting anything in return.

The plethora of genres and mediums explored throughout this exhibition have attracted a wide variety of collectors interested in subjects including the inner psyche, spirituality and familial bonds. Many of these works draw on the importance of relationships as a fundamental part of our lives, teaching us the true importance of those that surround us. The past twelve months, since the last Kiss exhibition, have proved particularly challenging for all. They’ve forced us to realign our priorities, and seek that kinder side to society. It is this sentiment that is so poignant within each of the artworks created in this year’s Kiss exhibition.

Although we are unable to experience the physical presence of the works in a gallery setting, Gallery Different aims to bring the enjoyment to your desktop, tablet or phone. Interviews have been orchestrated and a greater depth has been reached by the artist to give you unchartered access to these works. We hope that the deep seated sentiments of love and kindness can be experienced within the comfort of your own homes. Should you have any further questions, or require additional images, do not hesitate to contact the gallery.
