"The Influencing Machine" examines the invisibility and apparent normalisation of these processes by combining artistic positions and research on the socio-political and economic realities of such “human” labour.
About
Based on digital codes, bots carry out repetitive activities autonomously. They simplify, complement or supplant human actions and operations, thus shaping both virtual and analogue structures. "The Influencing Machine" examines the invisibility and apparent normalisation of these processes by combining artistic positions and research on the socio-political and economic realities of such “human” labour. Taking the form of a visual essay it investigates the conditions of digital interference and the resulting dependencies, asymmetries and fractures.nGbK project group: Vladimir Čajkovac, Kristina Kramer, Bettina Lehmann, Sophie MacPherson, Tahani Nadim, Cornelia Wagner
