What is landscape but a map of human activity past and present?
Cathy Lane's exhibition ' The Hebrides Suite mapping the islands in sound' opens July 31, 2015 at Museum nan Eilean, Sgiol Lionacleit, Isle of Benbecula, Outer Hebrides, Scotland and runs until the end of October.
The exhibition includes a new work, 'Sandy Jaffas' made in collaboration with Comann Eachdraidh Ubhist a Deas (South Uist Historical Society) at Kildonan Museum; Comann Eachdraidh Ubhist a Tuath (North Uist Historical Society) at Taigh Chearsabagh and pupils and staff from Sgiol Lionacleit.
Supported by Museum nan Eilean, Creative Research into Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice (CRiSAP) and London College of Communication.
