About
A panel discussion that traces The Grand Tour from its history as a rite of passage for young aristocrats, to its legacy in collections. Includes alternative perspectives, including those of women writers, post-colonial critics and Nottingham's own Lord Byron. With Tim Knox, Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum, led by literary scholars Sharon Ouditt and Carl Thompson (NTU). In collaboration with the Centre for Travel Writing at Nottingham Trent University.
