19.00-20.30 Talk and screening with Hefin Jones - inter-disciplinary artist Hefin Jones is founder of the Welsh Space Campaign and Cosmic Colliery - initiatives that offer a cosmic context for Welsh culture, traditions and skills, revealing the capacity of Wales to explore outer space. Hefin combines traditional crafts and local heritage with the rich iconography of space travel to celebrate the ambitions and hopes wrapped up in man’s enduring desire to conquer space.
