About

A new exhibition of seascapes by local artist Jan Newhouse. From working as a messenger boy for the Blue Funnel line at the age of 15, to sailing to the Far East with the Merchant Navy, Jan has spent much of his life watching the sea. More recently Jan has spent time in New Zealand, drawing and painting whilst visiting his daughter. This exhibition takes you on a journey through the many different moods of the sea, from Fiddler's Ferry via the River Mersey to the wide open seas.
