Clay pipes found on the banks of the Thames and other found objects, form the basis for this exhibition - inspired one imagines by his cancer diagnosis and subsequent chemotherapy.
About
Murphy recently celebrated his 70th Birthday in St Leonards on Sea, where he has lived for over 10 years. A South London boy, he moved to the West Country becoming a member of the Cornish School and has also travelled widely.
