About

The Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 competition is organised by Black+White Photography, a magazine that strikes a balance between inspiration and information, traditional and digital for the monochrome photographer. On a yearly basis amateurs and professionals can participate in the competition to win the prestigious title. This year's competition attracted thousands of images from around the world and a set of three nudes by Binh Trinh has won him the prestigious title. There were also winners in the Single Image categories, where entrants had to submit images on the themes of Home, Land, City, Journey, Technology, Time, Work and People. Furthermore, the winner of the Young Black+White Photographer of the Year award, running for the second year will be exhibited in the show. The Black+White Photographer of the Year 2011 exhibition will showcase the highlights of the photographers' imaginations without any artistic boundaries! The opening night will on Thursday, 6th October from 6pm-9pm at theprintspace gallery at 74 Kingsland Road with drinks provided and admission is free. The exhibition then continues from 7th to 26th October, Monday-Friday 9am-7pm.
