Tessa Charles & Nicky Browne - Printmakers

The two printmakers work in different ways. Tessa is a white-line relief printmaker who works quickly on large pieces of lino which she prints on a very large press. She is inspired by domestic and other interesting shapes and scenes near at hand. Nicky works in the black-line method and has drawn and made prints of some of the 23 river crossings in the Borough of Richmond. This starts at Hammersmith Bridge and finishes at Platt's Eyot, overlooking the waterworks at Hampton.
