About
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Sarah Lippett is an artist, award winning graphic novelist and lectures in Illustration at the University of Edinburgh. In this workshop participants will be guided through a series of exercises, exploring the power of visual storytelling by developing and adapting their own memories into visual narratives. The stories will be collated into a short zine.
Sarah has said that: “Stories have the power to affect the way we see the world. Visual storytelling can be even more impactful, empathetic and accessible as a multi-layered experience. Sharing our own experiences and those of others in the sequential format of the graphic novel can help us and others make sense of our place and identity in the world.”
