We are delighted to welcome in 2016 with our January Sale, the annual bonanza of irresistible bargains on TASCHEN books big, small, and always spectacular
About
From 28 to 31 January, lovers of print, art, anthropology, and aphrodisia will find 50-75% discounts on display and slightly damaged titles, both in store and at www.taschen.com. Amid our screen-based days of swirling data, each of these books open up immersive worlds, harnessing expert content curation and the unfailing allure of great print design to reveal eras and adventures as varied and thrilling as the high-voltage glamour of Mario Testino, the making of Stanley Kubrick’s 2OO1 Space Odyssey, and the sun-drenched modernism of Southern California.
TASCHEN, established in 1980 by Benedikt Taschen, has stores across the United States and Europe, as well as its own gallery space in Los Angeles. In its 35-year history, the publishing house has garnered a loyal global follow- ing with its innovative books across size, subject, and price. As well as breaking records with the Helmut Newton SUMO, the most expensive book published in the 20th century, TASCHEN has produced the introductory Basic Art Series, the world’s most popular art book series, translated into more than 20 languages and recently revised and updated with Basic Art 2.0.
Highlights from TASCHEN’s 35th year included Art Editions and Collector’s Editions with David Bowie, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, and photographer Bettina Rheims, as well as a new Bibliotheca Universalis collection of bestselling titles in a compact format, from Araki. Tokyo Lucky Hole to Albertus Seba,
Cabinet of Curiosities.
