An evening of practical advice from industry experts coupled with drinks & canapés. The speakers will give advice to artists on getting their artwork seen by a larger and targeted audience, and tackling some of the issues around this.

We know it can be tough as an artist to get your work seen. However if you can perfect both your profile and your approach you can maximise your chances of getting a response from the right people. As an artist you and your practice is what you have to sell and confidence and clarity are vital in getting your message across. This talk aims to guide you on practical skills that can help develop your artistic practice into your career, through building a large and engaged audience.
Speakers:
Alexis Jourrou - Social Media Consultant. Works with Saatchi Gallery Magazine, MTV, Warner Brothers, Canon and various London galleries and artists.
Caitlin Smyth - Artist Agent, and Marketing Consultant for the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize. Worked closely with a variety of artists to promote them, as well as CHELSEA Space and other galleries.
Conrad Carvalho - Gallery Director for Oaktree & Tiger Gallery and Prize Director.
