This exhibition is an inspirational contemporary collection of paintings which highlight the suffering of animals.
Whilst painting St Francis of Assisi (patron saint of animals), Gibbons felt an overwhelming oneness with animals and their lives on this planet. This perception is presented in the subject of these paintings, hopefully raising awareness and knowledge by exploring the plight of endangered and disenchanted animals.
In a perfect world, Gibbons hopes humans and animals can live together in harmony.
