About

CEAA (Contemporary Experimental Art Archive*) is pleased to present Duncan Ward, a performance artist, fine artist, and previous collaborator with the Archive. Ward will be showing an installation composed of positively-branded kitchen towels found in stores, and plumb lines, and testifying to his several-month-long encounter with kitchen towels and plumb lines in an essay. The presented written work muses over his obsession and fascination with the items, the activities he engaged in with them, their psychological value for him, and the surreal ideas they conjure up. Ward concludes that the work is experimental in that he cannot explain or justify the process resulting in the final product. Visitor Information Private View, 17th Dec, 4:00pm-10pm and By appointment. To schedule a viewing, ring Cris on 0794 4663 963 and leave a message. * Image submissions of experimental art sought for the online archive as part of the international call for artists 2012. See website for details.
