Supermarket 2021, Stockholm Independent Art Fair. Supermarket is an international, artist-run art fair showcasing artists’ initiatives from all over the world, with the aim of sharing the passion and vitality of the independent art world.
About
ArtCan’s presentation is the collaborative proposal that emerged from a members’ open call, and includes the work of KV Duong, Lesley Oldaker, Ellen Zaks, Katherine Filice and Rachel Maggart, with curation and participation by Christine Manderla and Pernilla Iggstrom.
The stand has been christened “Fabrication of Self” — our response to the Supermarket 2021 theme of “Shapeshifters.”. ArtCan’s presentation is an interactive space where visitors are challenged to question how and when they shapeshift between their true and fabricated selves, and the consequent impacts on our true selves, our relationships and our potentials. Visitors are invited to interact with the installation and to become a central part of the creative expression.
ArtCan is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation with members across Britain and internationally.
