About
Screening No.2 Everybody says it’s all in your Head
After our successful launch in January, we are excited to show you two gems of young art & filmmaking at our second screening. Clare Bottomley’s new film “Everybody says it’s all in your Head”, and Michael Angelov’s short documentary “The Pig Star”. Both films confront us with outsiders of our society. One, who doesn't choose to be such, but is forced to by something he cannot control. The other one decides to turn his back on society, because he is happier with a life on his own (with his pigs).
Clare Bottomley – Everybody says it’s all in your head, 2015
Film Length: 34:30 min.
Clare was awarded The Deutsche Bank Prize for Fine Art to create a film that would focus on a friend of hers called Johnny who has autism. The film focuses on his journey into adulthood, by encouraging Johnny to create his own self-portrait.
Michael Angelov – The Pig Star, 2012
Film length: 15:55
Petko has been a swineherd for 40 years. A friend gets him into the film business. Among other small roles, he was featured in a film screened at Cannes staring Laetitia Casta. After this experience, he decides to turn back to his pigs and simple life.
