This year’s Summer Exhibition has been guest curated by Robert and Nicky Wilson, the founders of Jupiter Artland, and is a fabulous showcase of the work of our members and fellows. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to browse (and even buy) contemporary sculpture in a no-pressure environment.
About
Every year we enjoy celebrating our Summer Exhibition of selected work from members and fellows with an enormous garland of balloons across the entrance of Dora House. In 2020, it feels extra special to make this colourful splash as we all adjust to a new normal following the difficult weeks of lockdown.
In addition, Caroline Achaintre’s Echo Peel will be shown on the sculpture terrace. Described by the artist as a “fragile but also a protective layer”, this work was created in 2019 but has gained extra meaning as we adjust to wearing face coverings in our daily lives. We do not require visitors to wear masks, but do help yourself to one of our special masks, inspired by Echo Peel.
