People who have saved this event:

The annual fundraiser returns. Artist's from all over Wales and the rest of the UK have contributed to this exhibition. The work on show takes in every style and medium so there really is something to suit everyone’s taste! All the work is for sale and will be auctioned-off on the last day...

The Summer Open exhibition which ends in an auction, opened with a bang! 99 submissions were selected and are now on show. The work ranges from sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, papier-collie and photography.

Established artists such as Andy Griffiths, Ifor Davies, John Selway, Osi Rhys Osmond and Tim Davies show work alongside students, graduates, emerging artists and hobby-painters. Themes include the figurative and representational, landscape, still life and varying degrees of abstraction.

The show, organised by the Friends of the Queens Hall Gallery (FQHG), is important for the gallery and intended to raise funds and supplement the Lottery funding from the Arts Council of Wales.

Please come and support us by buying work at reasonable prices either in person at the Auction on the final day or by leaving a sealed bid at the gallery. For further information please contact the gallery.
