YOUNG TEAM is delighted to announce a solo exhibition and new performance by the acclaimed Glasgow based artist Sue Tompkins. The exhibition will include recent paintings and a new series of t-shirts which act as a canvas for text works. Commissioned by YOUNG TEAM the t-shirts are wearable art works that take influence from Tompkins long standing work in text and vocal performance work but also from her musical background (most notably in the band ‘Life Without Buildings’) and the iconography of the music scene and it’s fans.
Ten t-shirt works will be available for sale for £40 each from the gallery. Each t-shirt is an edition of ten.
