Join Botis and FFTN at Siobhan Davies Studios to observe and discuss how they continue to dismantle hip hop dance language and other street dance styles, highlighting socio-cultural-political narratives from underrepresented voices.
About
Botis Seva and Far From The Norm will be in residency this summer at Siobhan Davies Studios, interrogating the movement language and social commentary within Botis’s current work BLKDOG, which premiered during Sadler’s Wells 20th anniversary in October 2018.
Delving into their own autobiographical experiences, Botis and FFTN use a collaborative improvisation process to develop movement that questions stereotypes and creates complex images.
Open to all and free to attend.
