Steffan and Jeanette both explore the notion of ?home?. This recent body of work includes drawings, prints, pastels and sculptural pieces. Steffan explores ideas through personal imagery, symbolism and sense of place. Born in Wales, Steffan was brought up and lived for many years in North West England. He always maintained his connections and dreamed of returning. His work explores a rich vein of folklore associated with Wales. The viewer is encouraged to create their own narrative. Jeanette?s work includes landscapes drawn from the interior and studies of objects within the home. Ideas of place, femininity, and domesticity are explored through the drawings and sculptures.
