Spring Green 2011:Sustainable Schools

Spring Green is The Architecture Centre's annual programme of exhibitions and events that celebrate and showcase sustainable innovation in the built environment. From March 2011 the focus will be on low carbon and sustainable schools and how the Carbon Reduction Commitment is having an impact on design, behaviour and management. Presenting exemplar schools from the UK and around the world, the programme will include exhibitions, visits, plus talks on a wide range of subjects from sustainable school design and construction, to maintenance and refurbishment. There will also be a major debate on the many complex issues that surround this subject bringing together all those involved from designers to educationalists.
