'Soy tu huckleberry' is an exhibition project that, through the aesthetics of rodeo and the Spaghetti Western, researches the figures of American-Basque folklore unknown or misrepresented in the cinematographic story, their influence on current popular culture, formalizing it plastically based on the idea of the Hollywood outlaw consolidated between Ford, Leone and others. The exhibition explores the culture of the Western, how it coexists with the present, rewriting a story through the pictorial with certain poetry reclaiming a hyper-moldable creative space, built through a transcultural borrowing, a generic mutation and a political reinterpretation, which fosters the inclusion of hybrid identities in a contemporary narrative.
