Curated on the hoof, SOUTH WEST WEIRD at Gainsborough's x-church will bring together a disparate not to say desperate bunch of artists and performers in a valiant attempt to establish a fringe. Artworks by BendInTheRiver artists, Lincoln art students, Gainsborough secondaries and local people. Films by Gary Wood. Kids felting and junk bunting. 2-4pm Sound installation by Amie Slavin and Sunshine Gray, Jazz guitar by Double Take and classical guitar by Neil O'Grady. 4pm Jamming with Slumgothic Teenage Arts Project in the WOME (7.5 metre diameter willow dome) 5pm onwards Bands including Tapenoise from Lincoln, Nick Svarc Trio from London and local lads Geoff and the Thoms. The kitchen will be open for drinks and snacks.
