Standard ticket: £15
Concession ticket: £11

Visitors are recommended to book their tickets online in advance. Tickets can be purchased on the Somerset House website or in Seamen’s Hall, located on the ground floor of the South Wing at Somerset House.

One of the most inspiring fixtures in the photographic calendar returns to Somerset House this April. The 2022 edition of the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition brings together exciting contemporary photographers to celebrate the diversity of photography as it exists today. Inviting visitors to delve into an impressive collection of breath-taking images and become immersed in some of today’s most compelling stories, this is one exhibition not to be missed. 

Offering a unique experience for all who visit, the internationally acclaimed Sony World Photography Awards champions photography in all its forms through diverse categories and its international community. Now in its 15th year, the 2022 exhibition is set to be one of the most beautiful editions yet. Showcasing a stunning selection of winning and shortlisted images from all competitions across the Awards, the extraordinary display celebrates photographers from more than 200 countries and territories.  

From portraiture to landscape, architecture to wildlife and fine art to street photography, the selection is sure to entertain, inform and move visitors from all walks of life. The exhibition opens to the public on Thursday April 13 and closes Monday May 2, 2022. The display will then travel to the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool before embarking on an international tour.
