Full of colour & texture Chrissy produces works that celebrate the diversity and quirkiness of these hidden pathways. Through directing the view point & concentrating the gaze to a certain mark/form and/or structure/surface she renders form as surface with no visual clues of horizon or vanishing point. Rusting metal, rotting wood, patched-up boundaries and beguiling attempts at security are all given scrutiny and realised on an intimate scale to reveal the hidden dimensions of the everyday.
