Site Works’ is an ongoing series emerging from a nexus of identity politics, the rapid advancement of the contemporary urban environment and an experimental approach to painting/art-making.Terry Dynes is an Irish artist living and working in South East London. The work draws on an awareness of the role Irish immigrants have played in the development of our largest urban centres. Terry operates in an ambivalent, liminal mode using materials from the construction industry and subverting them through the language of painting
