In collaboration with Silver Odyssey Phuturistic Art, the artists Dijon Hierlehy and Ben Cooper have created art works styled to a Valentine’s theme, the art pieces and content look at ways and ideas that beauty and desire are portrayed in society today. Through the multitude of commercial images we see to depictions of beauty and romance our impressions of these ideas intimately affects the way we respond to the idea of love. These works are all intended to make us look deeper into the way we view these images and the meaning that love has on us all.
Whilst Dijon Hierlehy's work takes on iconographic beauty and the value we place on beauty through the symbols of its representation; Ben Cooper uses a variety of collage from sources such as Romeo and Juliet upon which he stencils street art images of women. These relate not only to his own personal experiences, but also to the way we all remember and appreciate the experiences of love in our own lives.
These ideas are brought together with our Silver Odyssey Phuturistic Art brand that is directed towards producing a multi-sensory exhibition experience including aphrodisiac elixirs and music designed to influence our perceptions.
