Join Shape for the launch of the Shortlist 7 exhibition showcasing the work of disabled artists as part of the Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary, including a talk from 2015 Bursary recipient Carmen Papalia.
About
Shape’s annual Shortlist exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the breadth of talent and standard of submissions to the Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary. This bursary, established by Shape in memory of sculptor Adam Reynolds, is for mid-career disabled visual artists and offers a three month residency at a high profile gallery and £5000 bursary.
In 2014 our successful recipient was Carmen Papalia, who took up residency at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London with support from The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art.
Join Carmen, as he reflects on the residency alongside an exhibition of works by the shortlisted artists Laila Cassim, Omeima Mudawi-Rowlings and Peter Matthews.
The Artist Talk will start at 7.00pm followed by a short Q&A session.
