About

(animation)
A group of sharks swim around in a room, pulling up the flooring to expose the concrete beneath.

(drawings)
Each shark is cut out of the vinyl. Their wakes are a jigsaw of shapes that accumulate into drawings as each shark encroaches on the path of another. The drawings emerge through movement: accumulated adjustments of inseparable figures.

(the exhibition)
The drawings are a tactic for breaking up the vinyl floor in Stoke Newington and transposing each shark coordinate to a gallery in Kingston. The exhibition is not static ' the floor brings with it a drift of accumulated movement, which may here creep in a cycle towards its own defeated re-composition.
