In everyday life, we try to shape things in such a way that the content, i.e. its meaning or function, is recognized as directly as possible.

About

Exactly this scheme, one could also say this logic, try to break open artists. Because art and content can dissolve in art, colors and forms are released.

The pictures of Karl Bergenthal act latent moves. The longer you get involved in this shaky order, the more you are in motion.

Alfred Olschewski works systematically on the concrete interplay of colors and forms. His approach is thus in the long tradition of so-called concrete art.

Hans-Werner Padberg s abstract objects appear as "weightless, landscapes". The colorless or luminous palette of industrial paints underscores the artificial character of his work.

In addition to drawings, Matthias Klepgen has created a large sculptural work. Woods and moldings, which are left in the studio as remnants, are the result of narrative architectures. In his abstract objects he also dissolves himself from the representational references and works the spatial for himself.

Bernhard Pfitzner regularly empties the paper basket in the Kunsthaus, sorts the papers and re-collages them into concrete structures with a new, open meaning. From the papers used Pfitzner makes new - artistic - forms of handling, freed from any purpose.

Josef Schwaf positions his figures centrally in the picture. They step up, they pose, they have gathered together. They usually look at the viewer, sometimes they turn their eyes slightly aside, as if they were avoiding the viewer's gaze. They are funny and serious at the same time. Josef Schwaf positions his figures centrally in the picture. They step up, they pose, they have gathered together. They usually look at the viewer, sometimes they turn their eyes slightly aside, as if they were avoiding the viewer's gaze. They are funny and serious at the same time. Josef Schwaf positions his figures centrally in the picture. They step up, they pose, they have gathered together. They usually look at the viewer, sometimes they turn their eyes slightly aside, as if they were avoiding the viewer's gaze. They are funny and serious at the same time.

The authors of the listening island
Wolfgang Brandl are poets and painters, both for themselves. Thus he opens up parallel discussions with the one world. "His literary work is a poetic protest against existing social conventions. There the artist calls in a quieter tone to a better world. "
In the prositances of Willi Lütkemeyer it is a matter of understanding how we organize the world and thereby miss our lives. It is about the linguistic order and the order as a language, and also about orderly speaking.
In condensed language, Rolf Wolf pursues thoughtful and empathic experiences and observations.
