The Leonard & Bina Ellen, SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art and VOX, center of the contemporary image welcome in autumn 2016 a major event entitled Repetition put to the testcompleted by a program of films presented at the Goethe Institute and the Cinémathèque québécoise. Sabeth Buchmann, Ilse Lafer, Constanze Ruhm - respectively art theorist, curator and artist - meet over thirty artists from the international scene, including twenty in Germany and Austria, which address the notion "repetition" as a medium questioning the process of production and reception of works but also as a critical tool to institutional power.
