An exhibition of seaside photography, mostly captured in Margate and Ramsgate in Kent. The photographer shares her passion for observing and recording life in all its facets, and her art of capturing the moment with tenderness and empathy.
About
Eleanor Marriott returns to the Pie Factory in Margate with a free exhibition encompassing her local seaside photography, plus a selection of her most engaging street and travel images. Through the large body of work on display, much of which has not previously been exhibited, Eleanor will share her love of observing and recording life in all its facets, and her art of capturing the moment with tenderness and empathy.
Eleanor’s photography has drawn comparisons with acclaimed street and travel photographers, Steve McCurry and Martin Parr. She is delighted to be showing her latest work at Pie Factory Margate, alongside her most popular pictures from her extensive collection.
The exhibition will also feature clay works by local potter Trix Newham. The pop up shop will also make a reappearance, allowing visitors to buy works ‘off the wall’, as well as to purchase signed prints, greetings cards, calendars and pottery.
