Conceptual artist Seamus Killick explores Saddleworth’s dark industrial history with a new collection of paintings and installation
About
Conceptual artist Seamus Killick explores Saddleworth’s dark industrial history and creates a imaginary time 50-years in the future where primitive children are the only ones to have survived the infamous 2018 moorland fires, and roam a bleak dystopian landscape blackened by wildfire. In this new exhibition by Glasgow-based artist Killick, he explores the themes of child exploitation in the Industrial Revolution and the concept of inherited trauma on the future generations of England's industrial north.
