Every Monday, Tuesday and Sunday motif is running screen printing workshops for individuals and couples, suitable for both beginners and advanced level enthusiasts.

About

COUPLES WORKSHOP

The workshop consists of introduction to:

The history of screen printing in the theory part; Digital preparation of the artwork (colour separations using Adobe Photoshop, adjusting printer setting and properties, etc.); Basic and essential tools, equipment; Mixing inks and use of chemicals; Classic way of screen printing; Experimental techniques, combining different media; Knowledge of paper material and texture; Difference of paper and textile printing; Possibilities with textile/canvas printing and different materials; Introduction to finishing aesthetics of artwork.   

Workshops take a minimum of 4 hours (12am - 4pm and 5pm - 9pm) at West London Art Factory.

Please arrive at 11:45am for a cup of coffee to start with!

Your design must be one or two colours max and up to A3 size. Please bring along a USB or send the file beforehand to info@motifprintstudio.com. Files are acceptable in .JPEG/.PDF/.PSD file formats.

Materials for paper workshops are supplied. For printing on fabric, please bring along your own T-shirts or tote bags, or any other fabric material that is made of 100% cotton (up to 4 items).

In order to secure the workshop you will need to put a 50% deposit in advance. motif reserves the right to keep the deposit in case of cancellation notice within less than 10 days before the workshop date.
