About
As a top model, Sayoko Yamaguchi embodied the mysterious beauty of the East, conquering the world of fashion during the 1970s and 1980s. She subsequently remained active as both creator and performer, using the theme of 'wearing' to produce work that transcended numerous genres. In the 2000s, during her final years, she carried out collaborations with a new generation of artists, such as Yasunori Ikunishi, Yasunori Kakegawa, Fuyuki Yamakawa, Naohiro Ugawa, and exonemo, remaining at the forefront of the times. This exhibition will trace her career, bringing her back to life in the spring of 2015.
