About

How do places feed into artists’ practice?

This exhibition brings together three artists, whose work references or explores buildings, locations and places.
The brutalist extension to the Ulster Museum in Belfast has been a source of inspiration and reference for Stephen Dow. Dow is an artist printmaker based in London and is a graduate of the Belfast School of Art in Northern Ireland.
Lana Locke is an artist and early career researcher living and working in London. Her practice explores themes of mortality, procreation, abjection and violence. She is working on an ongoing series of sculptures related to Grenfell Tower.
Melissa Campbell, a Brghton based artist, creates images that begin in a definite photographic place and explore ideas of deleted vicinities, collective memory, and negative space.

Private view: Friday 16 November 18:30 – 20:30

Artists’ talk: Sunday 2 December 14:00 – 15:00
