Nick Cobb's street photography demonstrates the subtle and enduring multilayered nature of the medium. His photographs are of sculptural dioramas which carefully re-create the 'high street'. Photographs used to make sculpture which in turn are the subject for photographs. The works have a colourful gentle humour which underlies the way we, mistakenly at times, might look for the human in every photograph. As a counterpoint to these the exhibition includes film work by Samantha Clark. Her short films are made in such a way as to draw our attention to the 'un-filmable' constructs of language and science, each a meditation of the provisional nature of reality.
