About

For Deptford X 2009, Volume is pleased to host Cardiff based artists Sam Hasler and Jason Pinder through a two week residency. The project space will be open to the public for the duration of the festival, inviting audiences to engage with the artists' processes of accumulation, discussion and interaction. Sam and Jason's individual practices combine everyday experiences such as labour, construction, endurance and chance encounter. Through the residency, they will produce text, installation, performance, drawing and a daily blog recording their experiences working in Deptford.
